[In an empty room in one of Camp's many buildings, Yuri Petrov sits at an empty table, a cup of tea and a folder in front of him. There are numerous chairs at the opposite side of the table, positioned so that the ones seated will all be facing him. The chairs all look extremely uncomfortable.]

Thank you for coming here today. As I'm certain you are aware of by now, there are some important matters that I need to speak with you about.

[Ivan takes a seat at the far end. Already knowing the topic up for discussion, he sits to find the chair to be just as uncomfortable as he feels. He bows his head to acknowledge Yuri, but he doesn't speak up just yet.]

[There probably are some things. But he wouldn't be able to phrase them right; he couldn't ask too much, and it was most likely best to wait for the other to speak first. And furthermore he felt... he should wait for the others.]

...You seem to be a bit confused. Were you told why I asked everyone to gather here today?

That's quite all right. I thought it would be best to gather everyone so that we could share information pertaining to Hisoka, as well discuss some of the events that recently transpired. In addition, I have been keeping some information from you all as well, which is something I hope to remedy today.

[nodding . . . a little uncertainly] Oh. Yeah, I guess we should.

ACTUAL INTERROGATION STARTS HERE

Once again, thank you for coming today. I suppose I shall start by making an admission: Hisoka has had an interest in me ever since November. I am uncertain if everyone is aware of it or not, but during that month, red threads appeared on certain people in Camp, sometimes tying them to another person. The threads negatively affected people's behavior, and I was afflicted with them and tied to Hisoka.

I...did many things which I am not proud of during that time, but I was also killed several times by him then as well. I taunted him in the past about delivering him justice through the law, and I believe he found my boasts amusing enough to continue pestering me. Ever since then, he has had an interest in me, although that interest never became overtly violent until recently.

As for why he is claiming that I am Lunatic... I have a few theories about that. First, it could be that he truly believes that I am him. I have gone at length about the judicial system and justice when speaking to him in the past, and Lunatic does have an abnormal fixation with the latter topic. Thinking back, it would not be odd at all for him to see this as proof of me being Lunatic.

It could also be possible that he has encountered him in the past and is curious about his identity. If so, then he may be attempting to lure him out again. Lunatic is arrogant and his methods are unacceptable, but he does appear to target only those guilty of crimes. Hisoka's plan may be to use these traits against him. If everyone believed that I was Lunatic, it may be a blow to Lunatic's pride, as well as go against his self-proclaimed sense of justice. This may cause him to appear again to confront us.

Finally, it could be that Hisoka has somehow managed to ascertain Lunatic's identity and is doing this to entertain himself. If he knows who Lunatic is, he may wish to see some sort of conflict arise between all of you and myself, while Lunatic still lurks in the background as another danger. I do not believe it would be beyond him to enjoy spreading such chaos.

I am aware that this is a lot of information, and I am also aware that you all will have questions for me. Please do not hesitate to ask.

... where do you think Hisoka encountered Lunatic?

I'm unsure. I know that Lunatic appeared once in December, but I am not aware of any other appearances he may have made. It is possible that Lunatic and Hisoka met and possibly fought privately, but then that raises the question of how they became aware of one another. While it could be that they merely ran across each other and that was somehow enough to spark Hisoka's interest, I find that to be unlikely.

The chances that Lunatic and Hisoka have encountered one another more than once or twice is extremely high. This is problematic because it not only suggests that we are not aware of all of Lunatic's appearances, but also because if they did fight, the question of who attacked whom first must be considered.

It seems like a very roundabout way, if we take his abilities into account.

I should have told someone of this immediately after it happened, but I was ashamed of myself and of what had happened. That was wrong of me.
