I believe Lunatic would have already known about the 'dying is not permanent' part of camp. Which makes his moves the most unpredictable.

We do know, however, that he has had entanglements with Hisoka. And they may or may not have had the opportunity to kill each other.

But the issue moreso at hand here is your entanglements with Hisoka, and of course... his statements. If it is true that he is targetting you to lure out Lunatic, then we shouldn't we see an escalation of deaths? He seems the type who would go about and kill half the population of camp to get what he wants.
